Great Shikarpur destroyed by the people

There is great role of Hindu and Muslims communities and other may be too like Sikh etc to build up Shikarpur before the event of partition in 1947. This city’s civil society did best to make this city beautiful and neat and clean. There were so many gardens and orchards, which made this area as green belt. This was the commercial hub as well, Hundi system was devised by Shikarpurian Hindus, many educational and other institutes were made by Hindus, we can see all those schools, colleges and hospitals, It will be regardless attitude, if we forget to remember the Old House of Shikarpur. Why Shikarpur has been so filthy and unclean, why roads are uneven and broken, why green belt was destroyed?! I think, people made it all and people destroyed it all. So let us made our city neat and clean and green and tribal feuds and vendettas be forgiven (10^th Nov 2011)
